Dr. Kluger and his staff of therapists occasionally have other hours available including Saturday's. When you call for your first appointment we will discuss your hours of availability and assess which therapist is right for you. If you have a preference, please let us know.

Patients without a managed care program:
(Also applies if your fee is not set by your insurance company, who will pay a percentage of the fee)
The staff's fees are determined on a sliding scale as follows, depending upon your financial state. Fees need to be arranged before treatment or during the first session.
- $80-$150 per 45 minute session for individual, marital or family therapy, biofeedback and hypnosis.
- $50 per 90 minute session for group psychotherapy.
- Psychological and neuropsychological testing fees are determined at the time of testing, depending upon the extent of tests needed.
Patients on a managed care program:
THE INSURANCE COMPANY SETS YOUR FEE AND OURS!! This is also true of many non-managed care programs. When you call for your insurance information be sure to ask if there is a deductible and how much your copayments will be.
By law we are required to stick to these fees and not allowed to charge you more or less than the stated co-payments. It is illegal for doctors to accept less than the stated copayment.
Some plans pay on the old system of a percentage of the doctors fees. This can either be a percentage of R&C (reasonable and customary fees) or simply a percentage of the doctors normal fee. R&C is a calculated fee that the insurance company states is the maximum that they are willing to reimburse.
- Dr. Kluger and his staff are part of most managed care plans as well as being reimbursable with most insurance policies. But with the state of managed care as it is today, things are changing rapidly. Before you assume you are covered for psychotherapy, please call your insurance company and find out your benefits.
- Do not assume that you can go to any doctor that you choose even if your medical plan allows that. Often psychotherapy is treated differently.
- Do not assume that your copayment is the amount that is listed on your insurance card or that it is the same as your medical copayment. Often psychotherapy is treated differently.
- Do not assume that you do not need pre-authorization even if your medical plan does not require it. Psychotherapy is often treated completely different from your medical care!
- In addition to acquiring this information, please call Dr. Kluger to make sure he still participates in your plan!
Directions to Teaneck, NJ office:
1) Coming from GW bridge - Take Rt 4 West to Teaneck Rd. Go south on Teaneck Rd. to Cedar Lane (right before Holy Name Hospital). Turn right on Cedar Lane. Go approximately 1/2 mile and look for 175 Cedar Lane on the right. Go down driveway - parking lot is in the rear. Enter building through rear door and the office is immediately on the left - Suite A.
2) Coming from the West - Take Rt 4 East to Queen Anne Rd. Get off at Queen Anne Rd and go south (towards Ridgefield Park) for approximately 1 mile. Make a left turn on Cedar Lane and go 100 yards until you see 175 on the left. Go down driveway - parking lot is in the rear. Enter building through rear door and the office is immediately on the left - Suite A.
3) Coming from Rt 80 - Get off at the exit for Teaneck. Loop over Rt 80 past the old Glen Point Marriot Hotel. Go up to the top of the hill and make a right on Teaneck Rd. Go approximately 2 miles and make a left on Cedar Lane immediately after Holy Name Hospital. Go approximately 1/2 mile and look for 175 Cedar Lane on the right. Go down driveway - parking lot is in the rear. Enter building through rear door and the office is immediately on the left - Suite A.
4) The office is also available on the major bus routes.

Directions to Great Neck, NY office:
1) Coming from Eastern Long Island - Take the LIE west to exit 33. Exit and make a right at the first light which is Community Dr. Go approximately 1 mile. Make a left on Northern Blvd.(25A). 891 is about 1/4 mile on the right at the corner of Northern Blvd and Schenck Ave. Parking is available under the building. The office is in Suite 202.
2) Coming from NYC and the West - Take the LIE East to exit 33. Make your first left on Lakeville Rd. Go approximately 1 mile. Turn right on Northern Blvd. (25A). Go approximately 1/2 mile and 891 is on your left. It is a black building with the letters JAPA on the top on the corner of Northern Blvd. and Schenck Ave. Parking is available under the building. The office is in Suite 202.
3) LIRR service & bus service The Great Neck LIRR station is less than a mile away. The local bus stop is within a block of the office on Northern Blvd.
